Thomas Brewer, Ph.D., ABPP – Secretary

Thomas Brewer, Ph.D., ABPP, is a Clinical Psychologist and Founder of Innerbloom Health, a small group practice in the Boston area. His specialty areas include couples therapy, working with couples experiencing high conflict, and working with individuals healing from trauma.

Dr. Brewer completed his B.S. in psychology at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and earned both his M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Palo Alto University. He completed his internship training at the VA Pacific Islands Healthcare System in Honolulu, HI, and completed his postdoctoral residency in the Intimate Partner Violence clinic at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veteran’s Hospital in Bedford, MA. Dr. Brewer became Board Certified in Couple and Family Psychology in 2022 and is a certified Cognitive Processing Therapy provider for PTSD.

Dr. Brewer has worked with a wide range of diverse clientele in community mental health clinics, homeless shelters, medical settings, and group practice settings. He takes a relational, empathic approach to treatment that focuses on facilitating psychological and interpersonal health and wellness through exploring and processing each client’s unique strengths, challenges, and life experiences.
